Valentine’s Day Makeup Look

mee
Hello Dolls, as we all know Valentine’s Day is around the corner. Some of us look forward to this special day and others dread it but you don’t need a significant other to enjoy the perks of this day.  I used to go out with my single girlfriends and have a Bloody Valentine’s Day and go out have dinner and have silly conversations. I consider Valentine’s a day where you can celebrate love whether it be a significant other, friend, or family member. Therefore, I have created a makeup look that you will enjoy on this special day. I wanted to go with dramatic eyes and a softer face and lips.

Please see below for the makeup details and steps:

1. I primed my lids with the Milani Eyeshadow primer- Applying a primer before your eye shadows will guarantee a long lasting result and will prevent any eye shadows from creasing throughout the day.

2. Apply a light brown eye shadow into your crease to create a seamless transition. I used the eye shadow Undeniable from the Lorac Unzipped Gold Palette.

3. Apply a gold eye shadow onto your lids. I used Unlimited from the Lorac Unzipped Gold Palette. This is eye shadow is so beautiful and metallic. Apply the too faced glitter glue for more intensity and pigmentation.

4. Since, Unlimited is very metallic and glittery, apply a matte white eye shadow to your brow bone for a softer eye look. It can be a bit too much if you apply a shimmery eye shadow to your brow bone. I used Undressed from the Lorac Unzipped Gold Palette.

5. To open up your eyes and make them look awake, apply a sheen white eye shadow in the inner corner of your eyes. I used Vanilla from Anastasia Beverly Hills.

6. Create a cat-winged out eyeliner look. I love using my Kat Von D Liquid eyeliner in Trooper. It creates the blackest and sharpest winged out look.

7. Fill in your eyebrows to create shape to your face. I am slighly obsessed with the new NYX Eyebrow Gel in Expresso. It is so easy to apply and lasted on my eyebrows for the whole day.

8. I used the NYX Angel Veil Primer for my face. This will help your foundation last longer.

9. I applied my Makeup Forever HD Foundation in 118. I love this foundation because it gives me a luminous glow and does not cling on to dry patches. It does not have SPF, so it will photograph beautifully without creating a white cast on your face.

10. Then, I used the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in Light to conceal any dark circles and blemishes.

11. After, I am done with applying my concealer, I set my foundation with the Maybelline Dream Wonder Powder in Classic Ivory around my T-Zone area to prevent any shine.

12. Apply your favorite bronzer to create warmth to your face. You are more than welcome to contour as well. I just wanted something more natural looking since we already have alot going on on the eyes.

13. I wanted to go with a soft flush look for my cheeks so I applied the new NYX HD Blush in Soft Spoken.

14. Then, I curled my lashes and applied my favorite mascara, which is the Tarte Gifted mascara. It creates length and volume. I also applied some mascara on my bottom lashes so my lower lash line didn’t look bare.

15. I also wanted a soft look for my lips so I lined them with Rimmel’s Lip Liner Pencil in Eastend Snob and top it with NYX Intense Butter Gloss in Tres Leche. Honestly, this has become my favorite lip combo!!

16. Set your make up with L’oreal Infallible Setting Spray. This spray is amazing and ensures longevity of your makeup.

17. Voila! You are done 🙂
