Spring Makeup Look

spring

Spring is in the air! Can you smell it? Well, can you? 😉 I know I can! I woke up today feeling so alive, and I wanted my makeup to express what I was feeling inside. Miami’s weather was absolutely beautiful, so it was the perfect day for a walk. Don’t worry, I didn’t go around walking around Miracle Mile with these floral cat ears on. Even though it’s Ultra weekend, I am not brave enough to rock this in public. 😉 Well, I’m pretty sure you’re ready to read how to recreate this look, so lets do this.

Products Used: sp

Milani Eye Shadow Primer- As you all know, this is my holy grail eye shadow primer. Maybe it’s time that I try a different primer…or maybe not! I always prime my eyes in order to cover up my veins and create a smooth canvas on my eyes. This primer will prevent your eye shadows from creasing and budging.

Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Eyeshadow in Playa Del Pink- I love this product so much! I applied this all over my lids with my ring finger. It feels water based in the beginning, but once you distribute the product to the rest of your lid, it will dry to a powder finish. It’s so hydrating, highly pigmented and build able. Your lids will have a luminous glow. Seriously, this shade is gorgeous.

Stila Nouveau Natural Eye Shadow Palette (Understanding)- I will then apply “Understanding” onto my crease to create depth and definition. It’s a nice medium, warm, brown eyeshadow that will complement Playa Del Pink so well.

Stila Nouveau Natural Eye Shadow Palette (Desire)- I applied this shade onto my brow bone to give it a nice, soft, matte highlight.

Stila Nouveau Natural Eye Shadow Palette (Coco)- Instead of using a black eyeliner, I wanted to use a soft dark brown eyeshadow to create a small, cat, eyeliner look. Black eyeliner can be harsh at times, and for this look, I was lusting over a soft, romantic winged-out look. I used a small tapered brush to apply the eyeshadow to my upper line and then flicked it out very softly.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in Light/Neutral- Use your favorite concealer to conceal any dark circles, blemishes and redness. I used this concealer because it covers up my dark circles and doesn’t crease on my under eye area. This concealer has reached holy grail status.

Jordana Best Lash Extreme Mascara- After curling your lashes, apply mascara to upper and lower lashes.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation- Apply a powder foundation to your face; this will add a more natural look to your face than liquid foundation.

Smashbox Perfecting Bronzer in Sunkissed Matte- I wasn’t in the mood for blush today, so I used a terracota-based bronzer that will warm up and add color to my face and cheeks.

Revlon Color Burst Lip Butter in Sorbet- Apply a bright pink lipstick to complete your spring time makeup look. This shade is the star of the show, and I recommend it to any one who is daring enough to rock this vibrant lipstick. You don’t have to wear a shade this vibrant, wear a shade that will cater to your liking. 🙂

We’re finally done! This has by far become one of my favorite looks, and I am going to continue rocking for the remainder of the week. I am obsessed with the lipstick; it’s life!

Please keep in mind that you don’t have to use these products to achieve this look. You can always use something similar. Enjoy!

Love & Kisses,
