Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Gentle Exfoliating Treatment Review

Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Gentle Exfoliating Treatment PhotoKate Somerville’s ExfoliKate Gentle Exfoliating Treatment is an exfoliant catered to sensitive skin. The product claims that the small exfoliant particles are there to remove dead skin and reveal even complexion, while the papaya, pumpkin and pineapple enzymes, diminish the appearance of pores, revitalize stimulation and boost oxygen flow to the skin.

I like to exfoliate, at most, twice a week. I first cleanse my skin with a gentle face wash; then, I slightly wet my face and apply a small amount of the exfoliant treatment to my T-zone area. I use an even smaller amount for my cheeks. I spend a total of two minutes with the product on my face. During the first minute, I use upward motions to remove the dead skin cells, and I leave it on my face for the next minute. I rinse it off with warm water. I, then, apply eye cream and a moisturizer.

Before I bought the Gentle Exfoliating Treatment, I was using a Sephora sample of the Intensive Exfoliating treatment, but my skin couldn’t handle it. To say that I looked like a tomato after using the intensive one is an understatement. My skin would stay irritated for more than an hour. Adding the gentle version of the intensive product to my skin care routine, has completely transformed the way my skin looks. It’s extremely effective at removing the dead skin that builds up around my nose, and slight redness appears for less than 2o minutes. The little beads are so fine in texture, and I enjoy the way it feels on my skin.

Kate Somerville’s ExfoliKate Gentle Exfoliating Treatment helps my skin reach baby smooth-skin status. I wake up with such a refreshed, really bright and smooth face.

It’s very pricey, but worth it. I believe that it’s okay to splurge on skin care. I’m sure there are alternatives to Kate Somerville’s Gentle treatments, but I still have more than half of the bottle left, and I’ve owned it for 6 months. It’s true when they say a little goes a long way. It’s available to purchase through Sephora for $65.

xo,

Janice
