Happy Halloween! Today is a day that is highly celebrated in the United States. Many people see it as a day to be someone they’ve always craved to be and as a day to to binge on candy. (Guilty!)
Growing up, our parents did not allow us to dress up for Halloween because it was the “devil’s birthday.” Dumb, right? Eye rolls…We missed out out on parties and playing dress up. We were those sad, pathetic kids looking out the window, hoping to go outside and play with the other kids. Sigh… So sad. Lol For that reason, we are not very big on Halloween. It’s not because we still believe that it’s the “devil’s holiday,” but because we didn’t grow up with it.
To make it up, our parents always gave us a basket with candy and let us watch Halloween movies. So if you don’t have any plans tonight, you are not a big Halloween person, or you are terrified of scary movies, below are some classic Halloween movie recommendations that won’t scare the living wits out of you. These movies are also child friendly.
- The Addams Family
- The Nightmare Before ChristmaS
- Double Trouble
We hope you enjoy your day, but remember, always be safe!!!
