Today, I’m going to be discussing ColourPop’s Super Shock Cheek blushes. The company currently has 25 shades available on its website. There are 15 matte, 7 satin and 3 pearlized finishes in the permanent collection. Colourpop Cosmetics have been all the craze in the beauty community. I mean who can blame them? They’re ridiculously amazing!
I have no shame in saying that I’m extremely impressed with these blushes (insert heart-shaped emoji). The texture of these blushes are so smooth and mousse-like. They start off sheer but are buildable and easily blend into the skin. They also don’t give off any streaks or patchiness.
These blushes are best applied with your finger tips, but if you prefer to use a brush, I would recommend a duo fiber brush, which provides a sheer and airbrushed look. I prefer to use the Zoeva (#128) Cream Cheek blush brush because it gives more coverage and pigmentation.
When you’re done using the product, you can’t forget to close the lid real tightly. If you leave the jar open for too long, they will dry out.
I currently own three ColourPop Super Shock Cheek blushes, which are listed below:
1. Trickery is described as a soft pastel, true peach in a satin finish. I recommend this beautiful shade for fair to light-skinned girls.
2. Holiday is described as a true, mid-tone peachy pink in a matte finish. I like to use this shade mostly during date night. It provides a natural flush look.
3. Between The Sheets is described as a mid-tone beige pink in a matte finish. This is by far my favorite shade because it goes with all my eye makeup looks.
Whether you’re a drugstore or high-end kind of girl, you need these in your life! The blushes can be purchased on Colourpop‘s website for $8. Aren’t they ridiculously cheap? Trust me, if you buy these, you won’t be disappointed.
